Mendix DevOps Engineer

At the intersection of Mendix low-code development and modern infrastructure, you'll play a key role in ensuring our Mendix-based applications are delivered reliably, scaled efficiently, and operated with excellence. We're looking for someone who understands the Mendix platform inside out and brings the DevOps mindset needed to automate, monitor, and continuously improve the way we build and ship software.

You'll work alongside cross-functional teams - developers, architects, support and business stakeholders - to bridge the gap between application delivery and infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored for Mendix application delivery

3rd line support for Mendix applications and systems

Manage Mendix app deployments on Azure or AWS, including Cloud Foundry and Mendix Cloud environments

Containerise and orchestrate Mendix runtime environments using Docker and Kubernetes

Set up and own monitoring, logging, and alerting for Mendix applications

Enforce security best practices across environments - secrets management, access controls, and vulnerability scanning

Collaborate with Mendix developers, QA, and product teams to automate and continuously improve the release process

Integrate and maintain REST and SOAP services consumed by Mendix applications

Stay up to date with Mendix platform updates and promote DevOps best practices within the team

What you bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on experience

3+ years of hands-on experience with the Mendix Low-Code platform

Mendix Advanced Developer Certification is a strong asset

Experience with SQL and relational databases

Comfortable working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and ServiceNow

Very good command of English

Nice to have

Familiarity with Mendix pluggable widgets or custom Java actions
