We are committed to delighting customers by sourcing and making quality products for less and providing a simplified and exceptional experience.

What You'll Do

The Merchandising Supervisor owns BikesOnline’s global merchandising function, leading AU merchandising and holding overall accountability for merchandising standards and accuracy across both AU and US websites. Bringing the expertise of an in-store bike specialist to the online shopping experience, the role determines how bikes are presented, sets the tone of voice and ensures accurate specifications, geometry, sizing and pricing.

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager AU, you will coordinate team priorities and oversee the quality and timely delivery of merchandising work. You will work closely with the US Merchandising Lead, who leads US execution and shared merchandising systems, data and processes, and provide day-to-day direction to the Merchandising Specialist supporting both markets. Key responsibilities include:

Product knowledge and content

  • Set and maintain content standards across AU and US, including tone of voice, product positioning, style guides, specification templates and size charts.
  • Lead AU bike descriptions and check specifications, geometry and sizing. Oversee content quality across both markets, with the US Lead responsible for US delivery.
  • Guide the Specialist on parts, accessories and OEM listings, ensuring content is clear, consistent and useful to customers.

Product listings and data quality

  • Coordinate product listing creation and updates across both markets, leading AU delivery and working with the US Lead on US delivery.
  • Lead AU pricing and URL updates, and oversee accuracy across both markets.
  • Review and sign off new bike listings across both markets.
  • Oversee listing audits, bulk updates and product data consistency across Shopify, Brightpearl and third-party logistics systems, with technical delivery led by the US Lead.

Team coordination and quality

  • Allocate the Specialist’s work across AU and US based on workload and launch needs. Agree priorities with the US Lead and category stakeholders, and track delivery in Asana.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, check completed work and give feedback. Follow through on corrections, deadlines and outstanding tasks.
  • Coach the team on bike knowledge and content quality, with the US Lead providing systems, SEO and AI coaching.
  • Coordinate formal employment matters with BruntWork and People & Culture.

Website structure and systems

  • Oversee collections, menus and filters across both websites, ensuring accurate implementation, regular checks and timely corrections. Work with the US Lead on technical delivery.
  • Obtain Category Management and Marketing approval for website structures and any material changes.
  • Prioritise automation, AI tools and workflow improvements with the US Lead, ensuring outputs meet content and quality standards.
  • Lead the resolution of AU merchandising issues and work with the US Lead on US issues. Escalate risks and conflicting priorities as needed.

Product launches and collaboration

  • Coordinate merchandising readiness for launches across both markets, with the US Lead responsible for US delivery.
  • Work with Category Management, Marketing, Brand Managers and relevant manufacturer contacts to confirm product information and coordinate launch requirements and deadlines.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of progress and issues affecting launches or listing accuracy.

Performance and improvement

  • Monitor AU listing performance and review US performance with the US Lead to identify improvements using customer feedback, audits and data.
  • Oversee SEO titles and descriptions with the US Lead and Specialist, ensuring product information remains clear and accurate.
  • Maintain merchandising procedures and quality checks with the US Lead to reduce errors and improve delivery.
