This role is highly operational and hands-on, responsible for driving financial performance, managing cash flow, and partnering directly with operations to ensure project profitability. The ideal candidate will operate as a hybrid leader across FP&A, cost accounting, and operational finance, with direct impact on margins, liquidity, and strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Own and manage company-wide cash flow, including forecasting, liquidity planning, and capital allocation Optimize working capital across accounts receivable, inventory, and payables Align billing structures and payment terms with project execution timelines Ensure sufficient liquidity to support large-scale and concurrent project deployments Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Lead forecasting and budgeting processes tied to project pipeline and revenue timing Develop dynamic financial models incorporating project schedules, cost inputs, and margin expectations Deliver actionable insights on revenue, margin, and cost drivers Conduct scenario analysis related to commodity pricing, project delays, and operational variability Project Costing & Margin Management Own cost accounting framework, including job costing and overhead allocation Track and analyze actual versus estimated project costs across labor, materials, logistics, and deployment Partner with operations to identify margin leakage and implement corrective actions Establish reporting cadence for project-level financial performance Operational Finance Leadership Act as a strategic partner to plant and field operations leadership Drive cost efficiency initiatives across manufacturing and deployment activities Support throughput optimization, waste reduction, and productivity improvements Strategic Planning & Commercial Support Support pricing strategy and bid evaluation for new projects and contracts Ensure global export financing requirements are met Provide financial oversight on contract structures, payment terms, and risk exposure Contribute to long-term strategic planning and growth initiatives Accounting, Controls & Compliance Oversee general accounting, financial close, and audit processes Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial reporting Maintain internal controls and compliance with applicable standards Manage tax strategy and external financial relationships Banking, Financing & Risk Management Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and capital structure Oversee financing strategies to support project execution and growth Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange and project-related exposures Maintain appropriate insurance coverage aligned with operational risks Required Qualifications 10-15+ years of progressive finance experience within manufacturing or project-based environments Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Strong background in cost accounting and job costing Demonstrated experience managing cash flow in complex operational/manufacturing settings This JD maybe updated in the near future, FYI.
