Our client is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Techno-Functional Engineer who will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, configuring the ERP system to meet those needs, and developing custom extensions to bridge functional gaps.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical design documents.
  
  
• Configure standard Business Central functionalities, including General Ledger, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Warehouse Management, to align with business processes.
  
  
• Design, develop, and deploy custom extensions and modifications using AL (Business Central’s programming language) and Visual Studio Code.
  
  
• Create and modify standard and custom reports using RDLC and Word layouts.
  
  
• Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central and third-party systems (e.g., CRM, e-commerce, banking, payroll) using APIs, OData, and web services.
  
  
• Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.
  
  
• Manage data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from legacy systems.
  
  
• Provide end-user training and create comprehensive documentation for new processes and customizations.
  
  
• Offer post-go-live support, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis to implement permanent fixes.
  
  
• Collaborate with project managers, fellow developers, and functional consultants to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.
  
  
• Stay current with the latest Business Central updates, features, and best practices, particularly within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant or Engineer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV).
  
  
• Strong proficiency in AL language development for Business Central extensions.
  
  
• Deep functional knowledge of core Business Central modules, including Financial Management, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
  
  
• Experience with data migration tools and techniques (e.g., RapidStart, Configuration Packages).
  
  
• Proficiency in integrating Business Central with external systems using REST APIs, OData, and SOAP web services.
  
  
• Solid understanding of the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and its integration with Business Central.
  
  
• Experience with PowerShell for automation.
