Location: Jackson, Mississippi
Duration: At least 1 year from the projected start date
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Work Location: 3771 Eastwood Dr, Jackson, MS 39211
Work Arrangement: 50% remote; occasional onsite work as required

Position Overview
The State of Mississippi is seeking a Microsoft Intune and Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) Specialist to plan, configure, implement, and support the agency’s mobile device and endpoint management environment using Microsoft Intune, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID.
The specialist will manage device enrollment, compliance policies, Conditional Access, application deployment, security baselines, Apple Business Manager and Android Enterprise integrations, migration activities, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer. The role will collaborate with agency IT staff to modernize and streamline enterprise mobile device management in alignment with state, federal, and agency security standards.

Required Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
  • Experience implementing enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager and Apple Device Enrollment Program / Automated Device Enrollment (DEP/ADE).
  • Experience configuring Conditional Access, compliance policies, and device security policies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and endpoint security best practices.
  • Experience with device enrollment, application deployment, and policy management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot enrollment, synchronization, and device compliance issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience documenting technical processes and providing knowledge transfer to agency staff.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working in state government or public-sector environments.
  • Experience migrating from Meraki or other MDM platforms to Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot and endpoint provisioning.
  • Familiarity with STIG, CIS, or other security compliance standards.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Intune, Azure, or endpoint management.
  • Experience integrating MDM solutions with ticketing or asset management systems.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, configure, implement, and support Microsoft Intune and enterprise endpoint management solutions.
  • Configure device enrollment, compliance policies, Conditional Access, and security baselines.
  • Manage application deployment and device policy administration.
  • Integrate Apple Business Manager, Apple DEP/ADE, and Android Enterprise.
  • Support migration from existing MDM platforms to Microsoft Intune.
  • Troubleshoot device enrollment, synchronization, compliance, and endpoint management issues.
  • Apply security and compliance standards aligned with state, federal, and agency requirements.
  • Document technical processes, configurations, and implementation recommendations.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to agency IT staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve device deployment and management processes.
