What You’ll Do
Act as the Technical Manager’s delegate for day-to-day technical decisions across multiple development squads.
Review solution designs and code to maintain architectural rigor, quality, scalability, and engineering excellence.
Lead incident response and post-mortems, turning lessons learned into meaningful improvements in reliability and technical debt.
Mentor engineers, support onboarding and hiring, and help teams strengthen their technical capabilities.
Drive consistent engineering standards, documentation, development practices, and ways of working across squads.
Facilitate knowledge sharing, technical guilds, and cross-team collaboration to improve engineering alignment.
Partner with the Technical Manager to influence technical direction and continuously improve how engineering teams deliver software at scale.
Key Criteria
5+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, resilience patterns, and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.
Solid knowledge of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and cloud-native application design.
Experience with Docker and a practical understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD, Git workflows, and observability tools.
Demonstrated ability to review technical designs, solve complex engineering problems, and improve software quality.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence technical decisions across multiple teams.
Proven mentoring capability and a genuine interest in developing other engineers.
A proactive, collaborative, low-ego approach with the ability to lead through influence rather than authority.
Work setup
Ho Chi Minh City (Ree Tower, Xom Chieu Ward): Vietnam business hours (8 am – 5 pm) with a hybrid setup (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
