C.H. Robinson is hiring a Software Engineer III (.NET Full Stack) to join our technology team in Warsaw!
As a Software Engineer III (.NET Full Stack), you’ll work closely with product managers, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to design and develop complex solutions that deliver real value to our customers. Your expertise in .NET, databases, and distributed systems will be key as you optimize and modernize code for performance, scalability, and reliability. You’ll join a highly collaborative Book Team focused on the shipment-booking domain, including carrier offers, shipments available to book, pricing guidance, and the services that enable carrier booking. This is a full-stack role with a strong focus on backend, database, and middle-tier engineering.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define interfaces, develop solutions, and influence architectural changes in partnership with principal engineers, product partners, and other stakeholders.
- Optimize, refactor, modernize, and reuse code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Research complex problems, translate high-level requirements into technical designs, and break smaller projects into deliverable work.
- Increase code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and sound engineering practices.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve production issues across distributed systems.
- Implement secure programming patterns and enhance application security.
- Estimate project needs and dependencies, communicate progress, and drive work through to completion.
- Collaborate actively with engineers across Poland and the United States, sharing opinions, feedback, and technical knowledge.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, research, and design while applying independent judgement and validating the quality of the output.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 3+ years of experience working in a software development team environment
- 3+ years of experience creating applications and features in an object-oriented environment (e.g., C#, .NET)
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL, including database objects, queries, and data-focused application development
- Experience designing or developing microservices, APIs, or distributed systems (e.g., WebAPI, ServiceStack, REST APIs)
- Experience with Kubernetes or containerized application environments
- Experience with code reviews, code optimization, unit testing, acceptance testing, and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, TFS)
- Experience independently researching and designing a small project, breaking down the work, and driving it through to completion
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including sharing opinions, giving feedback, and communicating timelines and project progress
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools, with the ability to critically review and validate the output
- Fluent English
Preferred:
- Experience with data streaming architecture and frameworks (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ESB)
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
- Experience with system integration, global projects, or large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with transportation, logistics, booking, pricing, or other business-critical systems

Compensation Range
zł174,500.00 - zł373,300.00The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across the entirety of the country this requisition is posted in.
