Middle General QA Engineer
N-iXN-iX is looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join our team! Our client is a leading financial institution driving digital transformation across its core products. You will join the Digital Technology Product Organization (DTPO), working in a cross-functional Agile squad to build and maintain next-generation mobile banking solutions. The team focuses on delivering secure, stable, and seamless mobile experiences for millions of users. Responsibilities Perform both manual and automated testing of Mobile and Web applications (iOS & Android) Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Kotlin, Selenide Analyze logs and identify issues across multiple environments Create and maintain test documentation (Test Plans, Test Strategies, Test Cases) Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers within Agile squads Participate in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing Test using real devices, emulators, and device farms Approx. 70% manual and 30% automation testing (subject to change based on project needs and priorities) Requirements 2–3+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation), with a focus on testing backend and microservices architecture Deep knowledge of client-server architecture, understanding of REST/SOAP, proficient in Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI (creating collections, working with variables, pre- and post-conditions) Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL certificates, methods, status codes, headers, and JSON/XML formats; request interception, mocking, and data stubbing Experience testing asynchronous microservices interaction via Kafka or RabbitMQ Ability to search and analyze system logs using Kibana, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar tools Basic skills in Git, understanding of CI/CD processes (GitLab CI, Jenkins) Excellent understanding of test design techniques, drafting detailed checklists, test cases, and high-quality bug reports in Jira We offer*: Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible A competitive salary and good compensation package Personalized career growth Professional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more) Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing Education reimbursement Memorable anniversary presents Corporate events and team buildings Other location-specific benefits *not applicable for freelancers
