Middle/Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to help organizations strengthen their security posture and build secure technology environments. You will work across different security areas, advise on technical solutions, and collaborate with both customers and engineering teams to turn security requirements into real-world implementations.

What You'll Do

• Review client systems, identify security gaps and design, implement and maintain security mechanisms for them (cloud, network, endpoint and application layers).
• Deliver security services for new and potential clients: penetration testing, security testing, vulnerability assessment, …
• Write clear findings reports and remediation advice for clients, and support them through fixes and retesting.
• Build and maintain the security framework for company: policies, standards, controls and processes, reusable solutions.
• Partner with engineering and delivery teams throughout implementation to address security requirements.
• Support compliance and audits (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) by keeping controls and evidence current.
• Keep up with new cybersecurity technologies, threats, and industry practices.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in cyber security, information security, security operations or security engineering/consulting.
• Hands-on knowledge of multiple security domains such as IAM, cloud, network, endpoint, data security, or SOC.
• Ability to understand complex environments and turn security challenges into practical solutions.
• Solid grasp of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN), operating systems (Linux, Windows) and common attack techniques (OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Experience with security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners and firewalls/WAF.
• Working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP) and its security services.
• Ability to script or automate tasks (Python, Bash or PowerShell; JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
• Professional English for working with global teams and documentation.
