Konexion is looking for independent Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineers at different seniority levels for project-based assignments within a growing semiconductor design environment.

The team develops low-power readout ASICs for MEMS-based accelerometers and gyroscopes. Depending on your experience, you may contribute to individual circuit blocks, own complete subsystems or provide technical leadership across the design process.

What you may work on

• Transistor-level analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Circuit definition, modelling and simulation.
• Integration of analog blocks into mixed-signal ASICs.
• Performance analysis across process, voltage and temperature variations.
• Collaboration with layout, verification and silicon-evaluation engineers.
• Post-layout simulation, design review and silicon debug.
• Architecture, subsystem ownership or technical guidance for more senior professionals.

Minimum requirements

• Professional experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design appropriate to your level.
• Knowledge of CMOS circuit design and transistor-level simulation.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre or a comparable IC design environment.
• A good understanding of key analog design considerations, including noise, power, stability, timing, matching and process variation.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Preferred experience

• MEMS readout ASICs, accelerometers or gyroscopes.
• Low-power sensor interfaces or capacitive sensing.
• ADCs, DACs and other data-converter circuits.
• Amplifiers, comparators, bandgaps, references and bias circuits.
• LDOs, regulators or other power-management circuits.
• Switched-capacitor, PLL or clock-generation circuits.
• Cadence Layout XL or VXL.
• DRC, LVS and post-layout verification.
• MATLAB, Python or Cadence SKILL.
• Tape-out, silicon bring-up, characterization or production release.
• Architecture, subsystem ownership, mentoring or technical leadership.

On-site or hybrid availability in Valencia is preferred. Milan may also be an option, while remote working can be discussed depending on project requirements, system access and the required level of collaboration.
