Position Summary
As a Solutions Marketing Manager at CAS, you will own the external positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for a solution that serves a scientific audience. The work centers on translating scientific capability into clear value for scientists and the research and development leaders who fund their tools, and equipping Sales and the campaign teams to carry that value to market. Success in this role depends on establishing credibility and confidence quickly with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Product Development, and Customer Support. You bring strong organizational skills, polished presentation skills, sound business judgment, and the flexibility to move between scientific detail and commercial strategy. Reporting to the Director, Solutions Marketing, you will join a team that will partner with you from day one to build your knowledge of CAS markets and solutions for a successful onboarding experience.
Position Accountabilities:
- Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for the audience segment, including personas and ideal customer profiles. Informed by market research, customer insights, analytics, and industry trends, and validated with customers and Sales.
- Partner with product and campaign teams to present a consistent story to the audience segment, connecting related capabilities so researchers see how they work together
- Lead go-to-market planning and execution for audience-segment launches and releases, from launch tiering and readiness criteria through post-launch adoption and performance reporting
- Partner with the campaign teams and our external marketing agency to position CAS solutions within multiple campaign frameworks and build programs that drive demand among existing customers and new prospects
- Manage content from ideation through development, distribution, and performance monitoring, collaborating with internal stakeholders to produce brochures, case studies, white papers, blog posts, infographics, social posts, video scripts, emails, and web copy
- Responsibly apply and utilize generative AI tools for research synthesis, competitive monitoring, first-draft content, and enablement production, reviewing all output for accuracy, claim support, and brand voice before it ships
- Build consensus and internal buy-in across Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and cross-functional business teams, sharing priorities, roadmap, and key learnings to keep programs aligned and initiatives delivered
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B solutions, downstream, or go-to-market marketing, with demonstrated success driving commercialization, customer adoption, and business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technology trends, customer needs, market intelligence, and competitive insights into actionable strategies that inform product direction, positioning, commercialization, and go-to-market plans.
- Proven ability to influence and build alignment across Product Management, Sales, Customer Experience, and Marketing teams in a matrixed environment.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing and AI-driven customer engagement, including how AI is transforming research, information discovery, decision-making, and buying behaviors.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with demonstrated ability to leverage AI to accelerate market intelligence, customer insights, content development, and go-to-market planning while maintaining accuracy, scientific rigor, and brand integrity.
- Background in chemistry, biology, materials science, or a related scientific discipline preferred; experience in SaaS, digital solutions, data products, or technology consulting is a plus.
- Agile, results-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, move quickly from insight to action, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
