Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Mobile Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cross-platform or native mobile applications. The role involves collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver performant, scalable, and intuitive mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance mobile components.
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and services.
Translate UI/UX designs into responsive mobile interfaces.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize mobile app performance.
Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.
Ensure application quality through testing and continuous improvement.
Support app deployment to app stores and manage release cycles.
Stay updated with mobile development trends and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5-8 years of mobile development experience.
Experience building production mobile applications.
Strong understanding of mobile architecture and lifecycle.
Familiarity with Agile development environments.
Good problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills
Mobile Frameworks: React Native, Flutter, or native Android (Kotlin/Java) / iOS (Swift)
API Integration: RESTful APIs, JSON
State Management: Redux, Provider, Bloc, or equivalent
Version Control: Git / GitHub / GitLab
Backend Integration: Basic understanding of backend systems
Testing: Unit testing and mobile testing frameworks
Tools: Android Studio, Xcode, VS Code
Cloud: Amazon Web Services / Firebase (preferred)
