■Recruitment Background

The company develops solutions based on a cloud video platform.

In order to solve various challenges across a wide range of industries—including food and beverage, retail, construction, manufacturing, and facilities—more than 300,000 cameras are currently in use. As a result, the scale of the system, the number of users handled, and the volume of data are becoming enormous.

The company is recruiting engineers to promote the strengthening and improvement of the platform that supports these services, the addition of new functions, and the development of various solutions based on that platform!

■Mission of This Role

You will collaborate with product managers, sales, and designers to conceive and shape improvements to existing applications and the development of new applications that utilize cloud camera footage. You will pursue a more intuitive and user-friendly UX for the video viewer, as well as discuss and implement efficient camera and video search UIs that are easy to use even for clients who have deployed cameras on a scale of several hundred units. Furthermore, you will proceed with the development of functions linked to data other than video, such as AI analysis data and sensor data.

■Responsibilities

You will serve as an Android development member of the team responsible for developing mobile applications for the company's in-house services.

・Mobile application development for cloud recording services

・Mobile application development for security services

・Embedded application development for in-house developed Android devices

・New function development, maintenance, and operation of mobile applications aimed at high maintainability and ease of functional expansion

・Development of UI/UX, including layouts for tablets

Experience in Video Streaming and IoT Device Development

【Required】

Experience developing modern Android apps using Kotlin (3+ years)

Experience designing architecture and selecting technologies for Android apps

Experience proactively driving app operations and improvements by collaborating with stakeholders, including business departments

Experience supporting the technical growth of team members

【Preferred】

Experience as a Team Leader, Project Manager, or Product Manager

Experience in Agile development environments (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner)

Experience improving development efficiency through build/deployment automation and CI/CD

Experience leading projects while communicating with the business side

Embedded software development experience

iOS development knowledge and experience

Experience developing services related to video streaming or distribution

Development of services/products using WebRTC/HLS

Application development using ExoPlayer, etc.

Knowledge of video codecs such as H.264 / AV1

Experience developing IoT services utilizing Bluetooth, USB devices, and other sensors
