Job Summary

Our partner is searching for an experienced Mobile Game QA Engineer as a full-time embedded team member. The role focuses on owning product quality, including test planning, risk identification, edge cases, and issue investigation. You’ll test a live free-to-play mobile game with frequent updates, new features, and LiveOps

Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day QA across iOS and Android, covering functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and release testing.
  • Review requirements and proactively identify missing scenarios, risks, ambiguities, and edge cases.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression coverage as the product evolves.
  • Test core gameplay, progression, economy, rewards, LiveOps, player flows, remote configurations, and client/server behavior.
  • Reproduce, document, investigate, and verify bugs in close collaboration with developers.
  • Support release quality by validating fixes, assessing regression risks, and proactively raising product-quality concerns.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on QA experience in mobile games, with experience testing both Android and iOS.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test-case design, regression, and exploratory testing.
  • Ability to independently translate game requirements into comprehensive test coverage and identify edge cases.
  • Strong bug investigation and communication skills, with experience working closely with developers and product teams.
  • Comfortable with tools such as Jira/ClickUp and fast-paced, evolving game-development environments; fluent professional English.


Strong advantage:

  • Familiarity with Unity-based games, device/client logs, debugging tools (ADB, Xcode), and API/client-server architecture.
  • Experience testing across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen resolutions; test automation experience is a plus.
