Tubit is a social platform built on top of a streaming module. With Tubit, bloggers can create live content and share it with an audience of tens of millions of people around the world.

The streaming module is our technical solution for the delivery of high-quality video and audio streams anywhere in the world. The module already works in 10+ products and we plan to actively expand this list.

Tubit not only provides a technical solution for streaming but also its own content. Our team works with a large number of streamers and puts a lot of effort into the development of this direction.

As a Mobile React Native Architect, you have the opportunity to make a key contribution to our product Tubit. We have a unique selling proposition and see significant business potential. To move forward, we are looking for an experienced Mobile React Native Architect.

What the job involves:

• Development of a native module for working with a video stream;
• Module optimization for all platforms (iOS / Android / web / mobile web);
• Development of new functionality (roadmap is built for a couple of years ahead);
• Multiple monetization features development;
• Working with AR and interface animations;
• Working with modifications of the video / audio stream (beautifiers, masks, virtual clothes, etc.).

We expect that you:

• Experience in developing mobile apps using React Native;
• Have experience with TypeScript;
• Have experience and understanding of the practical application of SOLID principles;
• In theory (or practically) familiar with FRP and rxjs;
• Familiar with the nuances of the HTTP(S), WS(S) protocols;
• Have experience in decomposing technical specifications into subtasks and can solve them independently;
• Know and understand how native UX/UI components look and behave;
• Have code review experience;
• We are ready to devote enough time to mastering new technologies and improving current skills, in-depth study of the problems that we have to face.

Nice to have hard skills:

• Familiarity with WebRTC or other video streaming technology;
• Understanding what keyframe, simulcast, svc are. You are not afraid of the abbreviations VP8, VP9, H264, Opus;
• Free orientation on the page chrome: // webrtc-internals;
• Experienced in writing native packages/components and integrating them into React Native;
