Role Description The Mobile Technology Officer is a full-time role based in Fremantle, WA, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows some work from home. In this role, the officer will manage and support mobile devices, applications, and related technology services across the Department, ensuring reliable, secure, and user-focused solutions. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and deploying mobile devices, monitoring performance and usage, resolving incidents and service requests, and maintaining mobile device management (MDM) platforms and documentation. The officer will collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to align mobile solutions with organisational priorities, contribute to mobile technology strategy, and support projects that enhance mobility and accessibility for staff. The role also involves identifying opportunities to improve mobile services, ensuring compliance with security and privacy requirements, and providing guidance and training to users to maximise effective use of mobile technology.
