You may have been part of some big projects before, but this work is legacy-building.
Here's your chance to design and deliver efficient, customer-focused services that also enhance accessibility, sustainability and overall quality of living for more people than you've imagined.
In this role, you'll:
Play a key role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of mode shift programs and initiatives that promote sustainable transport behaviours across NSW.
The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing multiple, complex, and interdependent workstreams to support strategic program outcomes and senior decision-making.
As a senior specialist, the role provides expert advice and insights on behaviour change, community education, and sustainable transport strategies.
Partnering with stakeholders across government, industry and the community, you will provide specialist expertise, drive program delivery and contribute to evidence-based decision making.
More specifically you will:
• Provide specialist advice and support the design and delivery of behaviour change, community education and mode shift programs.
• Translate evidence, customer insights and behaviour change approaches into practical initiatives that encourage greater use of sustainable transport.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multidisciplinary environments to develop and deliver initiatives aligned with organisational priorities.
• Prepare high-quality briefings, reports, correspondence and communication materials to support decision making and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to baseline analysis, performance reporting and evaluation activities to measure program outcomes and benefits.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and supporting delivery to agreed milestones and standards.
• Lead or contribute to the scoping, coordination and implementation of program deliverables that support mode shift outcomes.
Temporary Fixed Term contract ending 26 March 2027.
