Sub-Family Definition The Mortgage Banking Sales area is responsible for selling mortgage banking products and services to individual and corporate clients. Activities may include: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, Conducting client needs assessment Presenting mortgage solutions Managing the loan origination process Building and maintaining relationships with real estate professionals and referral partners Career Specialization Definition Mortgage Business Development Sales group identifies, evaluates and negotiates, new sales and marketing growth opportunities within the mortgage business. This work may include: Identifying and developing optimal revenue models, sales/distribution channels, pricing, and new mortgage product development strategies Identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships, such as Realtor/builder relationships, affinity programs, and referral agreements, including financial arrangements and customer sharing consideration Prioritizing and tracking investments across new mortgage product development initiatives May be responsible for project managing/integrating new business ideas and/or acquisitions Other duties as assigned Career Level Definition Applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
