The Source, Caesars Entertainment's in-house creative agency, is seeking a Motion Designer who combines strong design fundamentals with a deep understanding of motion, composition, and visual storytelling.
As part of the Photo, Video & Motion team, this role reports to the Associate Creative Director of Motion and collaborates closely with creative leadership across The Source to bring ideas to life through animation and motion design. This position also partners with the Creative Director, Art to ensure motion is integrated into the broader creative concept and visual system.
The ideal candidate understands how motion can enhance an idea, reinforce a brand system, and create engaging customer experiences across digital channels, paid media, social platforms and on-property environments.
The Source operates within a fast-paced, high-volume environment that demands strong creative judgment, adaptability, and the ability to deliver high-quality work against aggressive timelines. The successful candidate is comfortable incorporating emerging AI-powered tools into their workflow and is continually exploring new technologies that improve creative development and production efficiency.
Creative Development & Execution
- Transform creative concepts and static designs into compelling motion experiences and animations.
- Execute creative direction provided by the Associate Creative Director, Motion and other creative leaders across a wide range of projects.
- Collaborate with designers and art directors to determine how motion can enhance, extend, and strengthen creative concepts.
- Develop motion graphics for digital advertising, paid social, video content, websites, email campaigns, and on-property digital displays.
- Apply principles of timing, hierarchy, composition, typography, and visual storytelling to communicate messages clearly and effectively.
- Translate campaign concepts and established visual systems into motion across multiple channels, formats, and screen sizes.
Ensure brand consistency while identifying opportunities to make creative executions more engaging and dynamic.
Production & Workflow
- Prepare technically accurate, production-ready assets for deployment across multiple platforms and channels.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Adapt efficiently to creative feedback, shifting priorities, and evolving business needs.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to established production workflows and creative standards.
Innovation & Emerging Technologies - Explore and utilize AI-powered creative tools and emerging technologies to accelerate ideation, asset creation, animation, and production workflows.
- Stay current on motion-design trends, best practices, software advancements, and new creative technologies.
Identify opportunities to improve team efficiency through automation, AI solutions, and evolving motion-design workflows.
What Success Looks Like
- Success in this role means using motion as a strategic extension of the creative idea rather than simply animating existing assets.
- You understand how design systems work, recognize when movement adds value, and apply motion intentionally to strengthen storytelling and customer engagement. You collaborate closely with designers and creative leaders to determine how ideas should behave in motion and ensure every execution feels connected to the broader creative vision.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, make thoughtful decisions quickly, manage multiple priorities effectively, and leverage both traditional and emerging technologies to produce exceptional work efficiently and consistently.
