This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Architect, build, test, and deploy robust APIs (RESTful and SOAP) and microservices using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- ERP Integration: Build end-to-end integration flows connecting enterprise ERP systems with secondary databases, SaaS tools, and proprietary cloud infrastructure.
- Reusability & Performance: Author high-quality, reusable integration frameworks and Mule flows optimized for handling high-throughput, real-time data services.
- Agile Implementation: Work within an Agile environment, executing against technical designs, contributing to estimations, and taking part in active sprint planning sessions.
- Operational Excellence: Own, operate, and maintain deployed integration services in a distributed production ecosystem, ensuring high system uptime and participating in on-call support rotations.
- Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, establish architectural guardrails, and mentor junior engineers on the team to promote modern development best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Core Experience: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a heavy focus on MuleSoft integration development and API management.
- MuleSoft Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Platform Components (API Manager, CloudHub, Runtime Manager), DataWeave transformations, and complex connector configurations.
- Backend Systems: Solid experience mapping integrations to core enterprise platforms (such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, or complex internal data stores).
- Engineering Principles: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, enterprise integration patterns (EIPs), and distributed systems engineering.
- CI/CD & Testing: Proven mastery of continuous delivery networks, automated testing practices (MUnit), and version control systems (Git).
- Communication: Exceptional collaborative and analytical skills, capable of explaining complex integration architectures to non-technical business partners.
