Continental Properties is looking for a Multifamily Systems Operations Manager to join our team.
As the Multifamily Systems Operations Manager, you lead the technology-focused members of our Operations Support team and own key pieces of our Multifamily technology stack - property management software, CRM and leasing platforms, utility billing systems, and resident communication tools. You'll partner closely with software vendors, community teams, and cross-functional partners to keep our systems running smoothly, drive process improvement, and guide the adoption of new technology across our portfolio.
This position is remote-eligible for candidates in Illinois, Wisconsin, or Minnesota. Wisconsin-based team members follow a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office each week). Remote team members must live within a one-hour drive of a Continental community. The role includes periodic community visits and travel to our home office in Menomonee Falls, WI (approximately 25% travel overall).
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team providing technical support and new technology implementation to community teams, including auditing support tickets, guiding team through projects and providing coaching
- Serve as operational owner or co-owner of core Multifamily technology platforms, overseeing configuration, integrations, and vendor performance
- Partner closely with utility vendor partners on setup and configuration, and conduct quarterly reviews to ensure system is working effectively and recovery is aligned with business expectations
- Lead technology evaluation and rollout — from pilot testing through training and post-launch support
- Act as the liaison between community teams and vendor partners, ensuring feedback drives real improvements
- Assess and standardize workflows across communities, including reimagining processes through an AI lens
- Lead change management for new platforms and process updates, including communication and adoption tracking
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, or related field — or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in multifamily technology operations with demonstrated experience with MF platforms and workflows, including leadership in technology implementation and troubleshooting
- 2+ years managing people, with a track record of developing teams and driving service excellence; experience leading a remote team preferred
- Working knowledge of multifamily technology platforms, including property management software, CRM/leasing tools (Funnel experience a plus), utility billing systems, and resident communication platforms
- Experience leveraging AI to enhance processes and workflows that deliver results
- Flexibility for occasional holiday/weekend on-call coverage
