Role Description

The Music Composer (Hindi) will create original Hindi music for digital content, including videos, web series, short features, promotional campaigns, and social media assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include composing melodies, arranging and producing tracks, collaborating with writers, directors, and editors, and adapting compositions to suit different genres such as Bollywood-style, independent, and fusion music. The role involves preparing high-quality recordings, working with vocalists and session musicians when required, and ensuring all compositions meet brand, cultural, and quality standards. This is a contract role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in music composition and arrangement for Hindi songs and soundtracks, with a portfolio of original work.
• Proficiency in music production tools and digital audio workstations (e.g., Logic Pro, Ableton, Pro Tools, FL Studio) and basic sound design.
• Solid understanding of Hindi lyrics, rhythm, and melody structures, as well as familiarity with Bollywood and contemporary Indian music styles.
• Experience collaborating with vocalists, musicians, and creative teams, including directors, producers, and content editors.
• Ability to work to brief, meet deadlines, and adapt compositions for different formats and platforms (short-form, long-form, social media, promotional content).
• Knowledge of basic audio mixing standards for digital publishing and familiarity with rights management and music licensing practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural, creative environment in Dubai.
• Relevant education or training in music, sound engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience is also valued.
