Following the acquisition of Silver Pail, one of Ireland's largest ice cream manufacturers, Grupo Alacant is strengthening its commercial team to support ambitious growth plans across Ireland and the UK.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the UK & Ireland Sales Director, you will play a key role in managing and developing strategic retail partnerships across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. You will drive profitable growth, lead customer negotiations, identify new opportunities, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver market-leading private label solutions.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Manage and grow relationships with major retail accounts.

✅ Deliver sales, margin and volume targets.

✅ Lead Joint Business Planning with key customers.

✅ Negotiate pricing, promotions and commercial agreements.

✅ Identify new business opportunities within private label.

✅ Work closely with NPD, Supply Chain, Finance and Technical teams.

✅ Analyse market trends and customer performance to drive growth.

✅ Support successful product development and launch projects.

✅ Prepare compelling commercial proposals and category reviews.

What We're Looking For

✔ Proven experience as a National Account Manager, Senior Account Manager or similar commercial role within FMCG.

✔ Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

✔ Demonstrated track record of delivering sales and profit growth.

✔ Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management.

✔ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.

✔ Excellent communication and presentation skills.

✔ Full driving licence and willingness to travel.

Highly Desirable

⭐ Experience working with retailers such as Tesco Ireland, Dunnes Stores, SuperValu, Aldi or Lidl.

⭐ Category Management experience.

⭐ Ice cream, frozen food or private label sector experience.
