Clients include major energy companies, FPSO owners, offshore installation contractors, and offshore wind and renewable energy developers.

Role Description The Naval Architect / Engineer will be responsible for developing and reviewing offshore and marine engineering designs, with a particular focus on floating units, SURF, mooring systems, and marine structures. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to provide consultancy on SURF systems, offshore installations, and renewable offshore projects, while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications. The Naval Architect / Engineer will also contribute to equipment selection, project proposals, and technical presentations for clients. This is a full-time remote role that requires proactive communication and effective coordination with global project stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Ocean Engineering,
  • Experience in Orcaflex
  • Ability to interpret and apply international codes and standards (e.g., class rules, API, ISO) within project deliverables.
  • Experience with engineering and design software (such as hydrostatics/hydrodynamics tools, FEA packages, CAD) is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills, with attention to detail and quality control.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in remote, multi-disciplinary, and multi-cultural teams.
  • Prior experience in offshore energy, FPSO projects
