NAVER U.Hub is the U.S. subsidiary of NAVER, a global internet technology company, based in Los Angeles with offices in Seattle and Redwood City. Our teams across NAVER Search US, BAND, ThingsBook, and NAVER Ventures collaborates to advance AI, social media, and investment initiatives that build smarter and more connected experiences for global users.
About NAVER Ventures
NAVER Ventures is NAVER's venture capital arm that has invested in over 100 innovative tech startups from the seed stage. It is now expanding more heavily into the U.S. early-stage companies across AI, Consumer, and Enterprise Software. We strive to be a trusted partner for entrepreneurs, focusing on the value of the problems that startups aim to solve, the prospect of their technology, and the growth potential of their teams rather than immediate numbers. Our goal is to partner with bold founders with big ideas from day one to help them build iconic companies and make history.
Overview
We are growing our investment team in Redwood City, California, and are hiring an Investment Analyst. Candidates with more extensive relevant experience may be considered for the Associate level, with title, scope, and compensation calibrated to experience. As an Investment Analyst, you will work alongside experienced investors throughout the entire investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating new opportunities to supporting due diligence, executing investments, and working with portfolio companies after investment.
This role is ideal for candidates who combine strong analytical skills with intellectual curiosity and a genuine passion for technology startups. We welcome candidates from investment, consulting, and technical or operating backgrounds.

- Evaluate investment opportunities across AI, enterprise software, infrastructure, robotics, consumer technology, and other emerging sectors
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and commercial diligence on prospective investments
- Build financial models, analyze business metrics, and support valuation analysis
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees
- Participate in meetings with founders, investors, customers, and industry experts throughout the diligence process
- Develop investment theses around emerging technology trends and markets
- Source new investment opportunities through relationships with founders, venture capital firms, accelerators, and the broader startup ecosystem
- Identify strategic collaboration opportunities between portfolio companies and NAVER’s business units, and support portfolio companies after investment
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, growth equity, consulting, corporate development, or technical/operating roles at technology companies
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interest in technology, startups, and venture investing
- Prior experience in technology investment banking, venture capital, growth equity, or corporate venture capital
- Experience evaluating software or AI companies
- Existing relationships within the startup or venture ecosystem
- Technical background (e.g., engineering, computer science, or product experience)
- Hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day research and analysis
- Korean language proficiency is a plus
We're looking for someone who is:
- Naturally curious about technology and emerging markets
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete information
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and eager to learn
- Collaborative and able to build relationships with founders, investors, and internal stakeholders
- Excited to help founders build transformational companies
