About Us
iMove is a fast-growing taxi and mobility platform operating across the Mediterranean. As a dynamic and
entrepreneurial company, we value innovation, collaboration, and initiative. Every member of our team
plays an important role in developing and improving our products and services.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced .NET Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain reliable,
secure, and scalable web applications. You will work across the entire application stack, from backend
services and REST APIs to database design and responsive front-end interfaces.
Working with C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure, you will contribute to the
development of new features, the improvement of existing systems, and the evolution of our software
architecture. While our front-end engineers focus on the usability, accessibility, and performance of the
user-facing experience, this role centers on backend services, data, integrations, and system architecture,
with front-end work as part of delivering complete features.
You will collaborate closely with the development team and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality
solutions that support the growth of the iMove platform. We are looking for someone adaptable,
proactive, and willing to learn new technologies and tools as our products evolve.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position, combining remote work with regular in-office days at our Athens office.
Job Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Blazor,
including responsive front-end interfaces built with Razor Components, HTML5, CSS3, and
JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services, ensuring reliability, performance,
security, and maintainability.
• Design, implement, and optimize database structures, queries, and data access using SQL Server
and Entity Framework Core.
• Integrate web applications with internal services, external APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Contribute to application architecture, technical design decisions, and the implementation of
clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Apply secure coding practices, implement appropriate authentication and authorization
mechanisms, and address security findings.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and other automated tests, and help improve CI/CD
pipelines and build, test, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, investigate defects, and improve application performance and
scalability.
• Support the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of applications and backend services in
Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish coding standards, development guidelines, and best
practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other team members to translate business
requirements into technical solutions, and maintain clear technical documentation.
Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a
closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in .NET application development.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience developing and maintaining REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience with Blazor, Razor Components, or equivalent modern front-end technologies.
• Good knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server, including database design,
SQL queries, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or a comparable ORM.
• Understanding of software architecture principles, clean code, separation of concerns, and
maintainable application design.
• Experience with Git, collaborative development workflows, and code review practices.
• Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and automated quality checks.
• Experience deploying or maintaining applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of secure software development practices, authentication, and authorization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and
collaboratively.
• Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with asynchronous processing, background services, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in the transportation, mobility, or travel industry.
