Network Architect

Role Description This part-time remote Network Architect role at Energia ConTacto focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable network infrastructures. The Network Architect will develop network architectures and detailed designs, evaluate existing environments, and recommend improvements aligned with business and security requirements. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and operations teams, preparing technical documentation and diagrams, and supporting implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network solutions. The role also involves performing capacity planning, reviewing network performance and security posture, and contributing to standards, policies, and best practices for network operations.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Architecture and Network Design to create scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
• Candidates should possess skills in Network Engineering and Network Administration to implement, configure, and support network infrastructure.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Network Security to design and maintain secure network environments and mitigate risks.
• Experience with enterprise networking technologies (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN) and common protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs) is highly beneficial.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent, and experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time environment.
