Network Architect - Bilingual

Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently looking for a Network Architect - Bilingual for our client, a global leader in the IT infrastructure consulting and management industry. Role(s) Required: Network Architect - Bilingual Location: Remote , Montreal, QC Employment Type: 6 months to start but this is a Indefinite, longterm contract Required Start Date: ASAP Total Hours Approved Per Role: 40h/week Rate/Salary: $100 /hr - some flexibility on final rate based on overall experience Summary As a Network Architect , you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure that our network is secure, reliable, and meets the needs of our clients business. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement network architecture for our company, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into network solutions - Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures to protect our company's data and systems - Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise - Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for network improvements - Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies - Manage network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network architecture and security - Train and mentor junior network engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Network Architect or a similar role - Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP - Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems - Proficient in network design and troubleshooting - Familiarity with network monitoring tools - High level of expertise with the below technology Network Technologie Cisco NX-OS ( Nexus 9k/7k/5k) Technologie Cisco IOS (Cisco Catalyst 9k/8k/6k/3k, ISR4000, ASR1001X) Technologie Meraki (MX, MS et MR) Protocole de routage: EIGRP/BGP AWS NETWORK CONSTRUCT: Transit Gateway, VPC, DirectConnect, Gateway Load-Balancer, Internet Gateway, EC2 F5 LTM/GTM Cisco Anyconnect on ASA Cisco Anyconnect on FTD Cisco SD-Access (multiple campus) ISE (PSN, PxGrid) Catalyst Center Cisco Firewall Cisco FMC FPR2000 FPR3000 FPR4000 Checkpoint Firewall Cisco (ASA & FTD) Routing/switching Cisco Meraki (MX, MS & MR) F5 AWS Azure BGP, EIGRP, VXLAN, VPN - ENG/FR bilingualism is considered a strong asset - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Industry certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE, are a plus
