Network Consultant

Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently looking for a Network Consultant for our client, a global leader in the IT infrastructure consulting and management industry. Role(s) Required: Network Consultant Location: Remote , Toronto, ON Employment Type: 6 months to start but this is a Indefinite, longterm contract Required Start Date: ASAP Total Hours Approved Per Role: 40h/week Rate/Salary: $70 - 80 /hr - based on overall experience Summary As a Network Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing their network infrastructure. This is a contract position, and you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects. Key Responsibilities: -Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for clients, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment. - Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations. - Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner. - Monitor network performance and security, and take proactive measures to ensure the stability and reliability of the network. - Collaborate with clients and other team members to understand their business needs and provide customized solutions. - Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and trends to continuously improve our services and offerings.
