About Us
At Ellit Groups, we are passionate about bridging the gap between healthcare operations and IT, with the patient at the center of everything we do. Our mission is to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions that redefine how care is delivered in the industry.

Ellit Groups is a Private Equity-backed, woman, minority-led healthcare IT consulting firm focused on Provider and Payer organizations. We partner with healthcare leaders who value operational excellence, real-world experience, and diverse perspectives to drive better outcomes.

Our firm is built by former healthcare operators who understand the realities of running complex healthcare systems. This combination of operator credibility and investment-backed growth enables us to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for a new office network buildout in the San Francisco area. The consultant will assess the current and future-state environments, recommend an effective network strategy, and demonstrate the value of the proposed infrastructure work.

This engagement will likely begin with an onsite scoping visit to evaluate the new location, existing equipment, connectivity requirements, and overall network needs. Additional travel is expected to be limited. There is potential for the consultant to be retained for ongoing support based on project needs and performance.

Project Details
· Start: To be determined
· Duration: Project-based engagement with potential for ongoing support
· Location: Remote Role. Office located in San Francisco, California
· Work arrangement: Initial onsite scoping visit followed by primarily remote support
· Travel: Limited travel anticipated after the initial onsite visit

Role Overview
The Network Engineer – Cisco Meraki & Wireless Infrastructure will provide hands-on technical leadership for the planning and implementation of a new office network environment. The ideal consultant will combine strong Cisco Meraki and wireless infrastructure expertise with the ability to clearly communicate recommendations, project requirements, risks, and business value. This role will also provide technical support during the network buildout and office opening.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and support the deployment of Cisco Meraki switches, wireless access points, and related network infrastructure.
· Evaluate existing network devices and recommend which equipment should be moved to the new location to avoid redundancies and unnecessary costs.
· Develop an overall network design that supports performance, reliability, scalability, and future growth.
· Recommend optimal wireless access point placement based on the office layout, anticipated usage, physical barriers, and coverage requirements.
· Create wireless heat maps and floor plan documentation to validate signal strength, wireless capacity, and coverage.
· Recommend the placement of AT&T network points to support reliable cellular connectivity throughout the office.
· Assess existing audiovisual equipment and determine whether it can be reused at the new location.
· Identify infrastructure gaps, project risks, dependencies, and equipment requirements before implementation.
· Provide hands-on technical support during the network buildout, testing, troubleshooting, and office opening.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders, facilities teams, telecommunications providers, vendors, and other technical partners.
· Clearly communicate recommendations, expected outcomes, project risks, and the business value of proposed work.
· Create and maintain network diagrams, equipment inventories, configuration documentation, and implementation plans.
· Provide post-opening support and recommendations for ongoing network optimization.
