  • Support configuration-management and change-control activities for infrastructure changes.
  • Provide technical support for Interconnection Security Agreements (ISAs), Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) documentation, and applicable Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Coordinate technical inputs across network, security, application, interface, and vendor teams.
  • Review infrastructure test plans, validation procedures, and technical evidence.
  • Support testing of connectivity, routing, VLANs, firewall rules, application connectivity, and infrastructure performance.
  • Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions, retesting, and closure.
  • Support site and deployment readiness assessments, including network cutover planning, implementation validation, and rollback readiness.
  • Identify infrastructure risks, issues, and dependencies and provide clear technical recommendations to Engineering leadership.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure engineering, network engineering, infrastructure architecture, or an equivalent technical role.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating or leading enterprise infrastructure initiatives across network, hardware, and software layers.
  • Experience integrating infrastructure components in complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience reviewing technical designs, implementation plans, and vendor engineering artifacts.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure testing, configuration management, and technical readiness activities.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or comparable enterprise ITSM platforms.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, network segmentation, and enterprise connectivity.
  • Working knowledge of hybrid and cloud infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience analyzing ports, protocols, services, firewall dependencies, and connectivity requirements.
  • Working familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks, security controls, and guidance applicable to federal information systems and infrastructure environments.
  • Strong infrastructure troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis capabilities.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical baselines and engineering documentation.
  • Ability to evaluate technical deliverables and test evidence.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure configuration-management and change-control principles.
  • Ability to identify technical risks and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to operate independently in a complex multi-vendor environment.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting federal government, healthcare IT, or EHR modernization programs.
  • Experience supporting enterprise EHR implementations, including Oracle Health/Cerner environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or other enterprise cloud platforms.
  • Experience supporting federal ISA and PPSM processes.
  • Experience developing or reviewing ICDs and infrastructure-interface documentation.
  • Familiarity with Splunk or comparable infrastructure-monitoring platforms.
