Our client is a leading technology provider delivering advanced digital solutions to customers in hospitality, travel, healthcare and other service industries. Their platforms combine content, connectivity and commerce, and run across a wide range of screens and devices.
With offices across several regions and a worldwide partner network, the company serves customers around the globe through one centralized, fully integrated platform. We are now looking for a Network & Systems Support Engineer to join their Athens-based team.
The Role
This hybrid role sits at the heart of how the company delivers a reliable guest experience. You will install, configure and integrate guest-facing technologies for customers in hospitality, cruise ships, healthcare and senior living, and provide 2nd and 3rd level remote support to a customer base spread across the globe.
You will own customer issues end to end through a unified web ticketing platform, working closely with Product Development, Presales and Content teams. Your technical findings and documentation will directly shape how products are deployed and improved.
This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world network and systems problems, and who wants to grow into cloud technologies, next-generation networks, virtualization and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure and integrate guest-facing technologies and products across hospitality, cruise ship, healthcare and senior living environments
- Deliver end-to-end 2nd and 3rd level remote technical support to customers worldwide, in line with company policies and procedures
- Manage customer complaints and inquiries from first contact to resolution through the unified web ticketing platform
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex IP network, Windows Server and virtualization issues
- Collaborate with Product Development, Presales and Content teams to resolve issues and support deployments
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Travel to customer sites in Greece and Europe (up to 20% per year) for short-duration projects
- Develop new skills in cloud technologies, next-generation networks, virtual machines and automation solutions to improve service delivery
What You'll Bring
- BSc or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Equivalent experience (minimum 3 years)
- Technical knowledge of IP network infrastructure and technologies (Cisco or Aruba)
- Networking certification from Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) or equivalent proven hands-on experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (2019 and newer)
- Knowledge of, or hands-on experience with, hypervisor architecture
- Very good analytical and troubleshooting skills, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent English, verbal and written
- Strong team spirit and good communication skills
- Willingness to travel in Greece and Europe up to 20% per year
- Driving license
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud technologies and next-generation networks
- Hands-on experience with virtual machines and automation solutions
- Experience with IPTV, VOD or digital signage platforms
- Experience with web-based ticketing and customer support platforms
What's in It for You
€1700 – €2000 Gross / Month, depending on experience, within a hybrid working model (3-2) that balances collaboration in Athens with flexibility. Working in 2 rotating shifts, with traveling outside Athens (Greece and Europe) 20% per year, and additional remote stand by. Private insurance, voucher cards and performance (installation) bonus/yearly included.
This is a chance to work on an integrated IPTV, mobile and digital signage platform used by luxury hotels, cruise lines and healthcare providers around the world. You will be exposed to a wide range of networks, systems and customer environments, with real ownership of the issues you solve.
Working alongside a collaborative, international team, you will have the space and support to master new technologies such as cloud, automation and next-generation networks, and to build a career in a global, growing company.
