WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The primary responsibility of the Network Operations Manager is to oversee the daily performance, availability, security, and reliability of our network infrastructure, managing teams and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal uptime. Own the business continuity and cyber threat plan. Recommend infrastructure changes to accommodate growth of the company.

1. Manage day-to-day network issues partnering with IT team and 3rd party network engineering teams.
2. Support cyber threat responses including supporting the HelpDesk team with SOC alerts.
3. Manage the wide area and local area networks.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues by identifying causes, determining solutions, and communicating resolutions to team members and users.
5. Manage and update the business continuity and cyber threat plan, including testing the plan.
6. Manage hardware, software, and support services purchases and renewals.
7. Manage domain renewals.
8. Develop and recommend 3-year infrastructure strategy for data centers.
9. Communicate and track project status using project management software.
10. Communicate technical information and solutions in both technical and user-friendly language.

WHAT WE'LL NEED FROM YOU:

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience.
2. Minimum of 5-7 experience managing network infrastructure along with technical knowledge and experience with firewalls, routers, switches, data centers, and VOIP architectures.
3. Experience developing failover strategies, backup solutions, and disaster recovery plans.
4. Experience selecting and implementing cyber threat prevention solutions.
5. Experience managing on-premise and cloud data centers, wide area networks, and local area networks.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
7. Excellent customer service skills.
8. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
9. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
11. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, especially within cross-functional teams.
12. Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
