Network Specialist

Network Engineer – up to £60k + benefits

Surrey offices + Hybrid working

A Network Specialist / Network Engineer opportunity with scope for progression in an established global business.

The Network Engineer will manage the businesses UK estate, responsible for the support and security of enterprise scale networks (Cisco and Arista based) ensuring optimum network uptime and performance.

The role joins a small but established multivendor Network team and will cover a broad range of responsibilities, with scope to move into a Senior/Lead role in the medium-term as the team expands.

The company offices are in Surrey with home working options 2 days per week (3 days in office)

Required skills and experience:

• 3-5 years+ experience in a similar role, Network Engineer, Network Security, etc
• Proven experience of Cisco or Arista environments
• Commercial experience of managing Network Firewalls using Palo Alto
• Enterprise level Network experience is desirable, either internally or for external customers
• Project leadership experience is desirable
• Relevant certifications in Arista, Cisco, Palo Alto, or similar are desirable

All candidates must be UK based and willing to travel to their offices 2-3 days per week.
