International Clinical Behavioural Services (ICBS) is looking for an experienced Psychologist specialising in neurodevelopmental assessments and therapy to join our growing international team!
We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD assessments, working with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
At ICBS, we provide personalised, evidence-based psychological care to a diverse international community. We value clinical expertise, professional independence, cultural sensitivity, and genuine collaboration.
We are looking for a psychologist who is passionate about understanding neurodiversity and supporting individuals throughout their assessment and therapeutic journeys.
Depending on your expertise, your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting comprehensive ASD and ADHD assessments with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
- Carrying out clinical interviews, developmental histories, standardised assessments, and diagnostic formulation.
- Preparing clear, comprehensive psychological assessment reports and providing feedback to clients and families.
- Providing individual psychological therapy, including neurodiversity-affirming therapeutic support.
- Supporting clients with emotional regulation, anxiety, self-esteem, executive functioning, social challenges, and other associated difficulties.
- Working collaboratively with parents, families, schools, and other professionals when appropriate.
- Participating in clinical discussions, supervision, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
We also warmly welcome psychologists with expertise in other therapeutic approaches who would like to combine neurodevelopmental assessments with broader clinical work.
- A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable clinical experience conducting ASD and/or ADHD assessments independently.
- Experience working therapeutically with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
- A good understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions, differential diagnosis, and co-occurring psychological difficulties.
- Experience using recognised assessment instruments and evidence-based diagnostic procedures.
- Strong clinical formulation, report-writing, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English. Additional languages are highly desirable!
- A valid Dutch KvK registration (ZZP), or willingness and eligibility to obtain one.
- Availability to work in person at our offices in The Hague, alongside online clinical work where appropriate.
- A compassionate, culturally sensitive, and neurodiversity-affirming approach.
Additional experience that we particularly value:
- Training and experience with assessment instruments such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, DIVA-5, WISC-V, WAIS, or other relevant diagnostic tools.
- Expertise in differential diagnosis and complex neurodevelopmental presentations.
- Training in CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT, Schema Therapy, or other evidence-based psychological therapies.
- Experience working with international or multilingual families.
- Professional registration or membership, such as NIP or an equivalent professional association.
- Experience supporting parents, schools, or multidisciplinary teams.
We welcome applications from psychologists specialising in children, adults, or both. You do not need to work across every age group.
At ICBS, we believe that professional independence and being part of a supportive clinical community can go hand in hand.
We offer:
- Flexible freelance collaboration, allowing you to maintain your clinical independence.
- A hybrid working model, combining in-person and online services.
- Welcoming consultation rooms in The Hague.
- Administrative and operational support.
- Individual and group clinical supervision, encouraging reflection, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Professional training sessions and opportunities for professional development.
- Access to our psychologists' platform and ICBS clinical library, including assessment-related and therapeutic resources.
- Opportunities to contribute to current and future ICBS projects, including neurodevelopmental assessment services, workshops, group programmes, and other clinical initiatives.
- Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with psychologists from different clinical backgrounds and specialisations.
- Team events, informal gatherings and opportunities to connect with colleagues.
- The opportunity to become part of a multicultural, supportive and growing clinical community.
We particularly value psychologists who enjoy exchanging knowledge, contributing ideas, and helping shape the development of our neurodevelopmental services.
We would love to hear from you!
If you are an experienced psychologist with expertise in ASD and/or ADHD assessments and a passion for supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents, or adults, we warmly invite you to apply.
Apply through LinkedIn with your CV and a short motivation letter.
We look forward to getting to know you!
