Working Pattern
This is a hybrid role. Candidates should expect to spend three days per week in the London or Birkerød office.
Role Overview
The role combines new business sales with go-to-market engineering. You will win new financial services clients and build the artificial intelligence (AI) and automation processes that generate pipeline for the sales team. You will report to the Head of Sales.
This is our first GTM Engineer role. You will design and run campaigns using AI, data enrichment and automation to reduce manual prospecting, working with sales, pre-sales, partnerships and marketing.
Your time will be split approximately 60% on new business and 40% on GTM engineering. Performance is measured on the new business annual recurring revenue (ARR) you close and the qualified pipeline your campaigns generate for the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
New Business
Prospect, qualify and close new financial services clients, from first contact to contract signature.
Focus on repeatable, packaged offers rather than bespoke scope.
Engage risk, compliance and operational resilience leaders on their regulatory priorities.
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in HubSpot.
Campaigns and Automation
Build AI-assisted workflows for account research, buying signal detection and personalised outreach.
Design, test and refine outbound and inbound campaigns, often linked to regulatory change, events or buying signals.
Track campaign results, report on performance and stop campaigns that are not working.
Data and Tooling
Integrate and automate our sales tools, including HubSpot, data enrichment, sequencing, workflow tools such as n8n, and large language models (LLMs).
Ensure our data structure is set up to support the use of AI.
Supporting the Sales Team
Provide each salesperson with targeted account lists, messaging and materials for relevant campaigns.
Share knowledge and help colleagues make better use of AI.
Candidate Profile
Experience
Three to seven years in business-to-business (B2B) software as a service (SaaS) new business sales, with a track record of closing deals.
Experience working in a scaling organisation, ideally within a technology, SaaS or high-growth environment.
Hands-on experience using AI and automation tools to generate pipeline. You can show us something you built.
Confident working with data, including building lists, cleaning records and using application programming interfaces (APIs) or no-code tools.
Able to learn a regulated sector quickly and speak credibly with senior compliance and risk buyers.
Experience selling into financial services, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) or regulatory technology (RegTech) would help, as would familiarity with HubSpot, n8n or similar tools, and with LLM prompting or basic scripting.
Capabilities and Approach
Curious, with an interest in testing ideas, measuring results and sharing what you learn.
Looks for manual tasks that can be automated.
Self-directed and accountable, and comfortable in a demanding, fast-moving team.
Collaborative, as part of the role is measured by how well you support others to sell.
Writes clear, concise English, including campaign copy.
Background
Likely working in B2B SaaS new business sales and already using AI and automation to build pipeline.
Looking for a role that combines selling with building the sales team's demand generation, with the freedom to choose tools and direct access to the leadership team.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive market salary.
30 days of annual leave.
8% employer pension contribution.
