Job Purpose
The New Enrollments Specialist helps consumers identify and enroll in healthcare coverage through Health Connect Insurance, an ALKEME Agency Partner. This role connects with prospective clients, learns about their coverage needs, explains appropriate plan options, and guides each client through enrollment. HCI provides leads and administrative support so the specialist can focus on client relationships and new business.

This role connects with prospective clients, learns about their coverage needs, explains appropriate plan options, and guides each client through enrollment. Key Responsibilities
1. Consumer Engagement and Enrollment
- Connect with consumers interested in healthcare coverage by phone, email, and other channels.
- Understand each client’s needs, explain appropriate plan options, and guide the client from initial conversation through completed enrollment.
- Build professional, lasting client relationships and provide timely follow-up.
2. Sales and Pipeline Management
- Manage provided leads and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and enrollment opportunities.
- Track sales activity, follow up consistently, and work toward individual and team production goals.
- Develop new business through effective conversations, relationship building, and closing.
3. Team Collaboration and Development
- Coordinate with the administrative team to support accurate, efficient enrollment processing.
- Participate in ongoing training to strengthen product knowledge and sales skills.
- Perform other duties as needed to support clients and the HCI team.
Qualifications
Licensing and Experience
Licensing and Experience
- Active Life Life and Health insurance license required before starting the position
- Sales experience in inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing preferred.
- A track record of meeting sales goals or quotas preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a professional, personable approach.
- Persistent, organized, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities and following up with prospective clients.
- Goal-oriented, dependable, and receptive to coaching and ongoing learning.
Compensation and Benefits
- $30,000 base salary plus commissions and bonuses; first-year earning potential of $150,000 or more, based on performance.
- Benefits include a 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and a flexible schedule.
Working Conditions
- This position is in the office at ALKEME's The Hive (aka, Sandy, UT 84070) office.
- Regular communication with consumers and the HCI team by phone, email, and virtual channels.
