  • Specifying and implementing automation and product handling solutions (e.g. transportation, measurement, and sorting).

In addition, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Translating customer drawings and technical standards into internal production drawings and manufacturing guidelines;
  • Supporting RFQ activities by assessing technical feasibility and manufacturability;
  • Developing and optimizing production processes and manufacturing methods;
  • Developing and optimizing machining, automation and/or product handling processes;
  • Ensuring quality through the use of tools such as FMEA, Control Plans and MSA;
  • Developing stable production processes and successfully transferring them to manufacturing;
  • Collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality, Production and Purchasing throughout the development process.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field;
  • Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience within a technical manufacturing environment;
  • Experience with machining, CNC operations, and/or automation and product handling;
  • Experience in working with measuring systems/equipment is considered a plus;
  • A hands-on mentality combined with a proactive and pragmatic working style;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams;
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English is required, German is considered a strong advantage;
  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or comparable design software is preferred, and/or the willingness to learn CAD.
