New Start Pest Control Technician East Hillsborough - West Polk County / Full-Time / No Nights or Weekends At Anti-Pesto Bug Killers, we don’t just treat pests, we protect homes, businesses, and reputations. We’re looking for a reliable, self-managed technician who can handle a route, communicate with customers, and consistently deliver quality work. This is not a role where you’re micromanaged. You’ll be trusted to manage your schedule, complete services correctly, and represent the company professionally. If you’ve struggled with consistency, accountability, or working independently, this won’t be the right fit. What You’ll Be Doing Perform inspections and identify pest activity You will be the face of Anti-Pesto and first point of visual contact Perform New Start Cleanouts Apply treatments safely and effectively Manage a partial service route and stay on schedule Communicate clearly with customers about services and expectations Maintain accurate service records and documentation Keep your vehicle, equipment, and materials organized What This Role Demands Showing up on time, every day Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong attention to detail doing the job right the first time Professional communication with customers Accountability for your route and performance This Is NOT For You If: You have a history of inconsistent attendance You need constant direction to stay on task You cut corners or rush through work You’re not comfortable interacting with customers regularly This IS For You If: You’ve worked in route service or a similar field role You take pride in doing quality work and being reliable You prefer independence over being micromanaged You enjoy being outside, in Florida, in the summer You want a stable, long-term position with growth potential Requirements 12+ months route work experience preferred (or a strong, verifiable work history) Valid driver’s license with good driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors Strong communication and organizational skills Compensation & Benefits $47,000 – $53,000+ (based on performance) Monthly bonus opportunities Company vehicle (after training) Health, dental, vision insurance 401(k) PTO + paid holidays Monday–Friday schedule (no nights or weekends)
