New Student Orientation - Belmont Today Social Media Team Member

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Belmont Today Social Media Team member will assist the Director of Student Engagement in running the Belmont Today social media accounts. Jobs include:

* Assist with the management of all BelmontToday social media accounts
* Utilize the Social Media & Marketing Calendar and HootSuite to plan and schedule consistent social media and e-mail communication.
• Assist with initiating and implementing social media campaigns, contests, and other strategic initiatives in order to increase followers and engagement across platforms
• Contribute picture and video content for social media.
• Create graphics using Canva to promote upcoming programs and events
• Assist with compiling analytics for social media
• Represent Office of Student Engagement at events and provide general administrative support (answering phones and greeting office visitors) as needed
* Other duties to be discussed based on student interest and needs of Office of Student Engagement.

Work in a comfortable and safe environment. Work will take place in an office in the Beaman Student Life Center or remote. Part of the work will also take place capturing photos or videos at Belmont related events.
