Newly Qualified Lawyer / Paralegal (12 month fixed term contract)

Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)

With millions of guests coming through our parks each year, our Legal & Compliance Team are the guardians of Haven – keeping everything safe, compliant, and running smoothly. We're looking for a Newly Qualified Lawyer or experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic team at our Hemel Hempstead Support Centre and help us support our parks in giving our guests a great time, with memories that last a lifetime.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract and a fantastic opportunity to develop your career whilst working on genuinely innovative projects. You'll work across multiple business areas – from daily support to our Parks Teams through to complex commercial contracting – and you'll lead the development of AI solutions to transform how our Legal Team operates

What you will be doing:

- AI & Digital Solutions Development - Leading development and implementation of AI solutions to automate standard legal queries; using and continually improving digital tools to support key teams; identifying opportunities to streamline legal processes

- Legal Support & Stakeholder Management - Responding to daily legal queries from Park Teams (Owner Accounts, licence agreements, caravan defects), supporting Owner Relations and Debt Collection teams, handling Site Fee reviews, and collaborating across Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Park Teams

- Commercial & Contracting Support - Supporting head office engagement on commercial and specialist contracting (supply chain, marketing, technology, construction, licensing); developing templates for procurement, commercial, technology, and marketing teams; managing external lawyer relationships and deliverables

- Training & Knowledge Management - Procuring and delivering training on legal issues and regulatory updates across the enterprise; keeping the business informed of compliance changes and best practices

- Team Administration - Managing invoicing from third-party suppliers, raising purchase orders, processing billing records, and providing general administrative support to the Legal Team

What we’d like you to bring:

- Experience in AI development or supporting technology teams

- Demonstrable experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or law firm experience with strong understanding of commercial contracts and commercial law

- Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and case-management systems; comfortable using and learning new digital tools

- Collaborative, detail-oriented approach – you thrive working across teams and pay meticulous attention to legal documentation
