The NGI Integration Specialist is a developer role within the Corporate Information Technology team, responsible for designing, building, and supporting integrations across SGS's corporate application landscape. Acting as an integration expert with strong Azure expertise, the Integraton Specialist works closely with Application Solution Engineers and business stakeholders to define integration requirements, address technical challenges, and deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Integration Specialist to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade integration solutions. In this role, you will connect cloud and on-premises applications using Microsoft Azure Integration Services (AIS), including Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining middleware components, managing APIs throughout their lifecycle, implementing event-driven architectures, and ensuring seamless, efficient, and secure data exchange across critical business systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, and Azure Functions.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into integration workflows, APIs, and messaging patterns.
- Configure and manage event-driven and asynchronous integrations using queues, topics, and subscriptions.
- Develop reusable integration components, connectors, and API assets to promote standardization and efficiency.
- Support API lifecycle management, including publishing, versioning, security policies, and consumer onboarding.
- Implement and maintain deployment automation, release management, and environment configuration practices.
- Monitor integration platforms, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production issues.
- Optimize integration performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across cloud-based solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, integration standards, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, platform modernization, and adoption of integration best practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing requirements across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, API Management – Swagger Hub, Power shell Scripting, C# Net Core 8/10, C# Azure Function Apps, Automated Testing, DevOps – CI/CD – Bicep - PSRule, GitFlow).
- Experience with hybrid integration and on-premises gateways.
- Familiarity with Azure SDKs (.NET, Java, Python).
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware.

- Azure Integration Services: Event-driven architecture, API Management, Event Grid.
- Security & Identity: Azure AD, OAuth2, RBAC, managed identities, SAS tokens.
- DevOps & Automation: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, ARM templates, Bicep, PowerShell/CLI.
- Monitoring & Diagnostics: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics.
- Data Transformation: JSON, XML, Liquid templates, schema validation.
