Role Description The NGO Coordinator is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring Wendi Foundation’s programs and initiatives. This role includes managing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, as well as supporting community partners and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of education, skills development, and leadership activities. The Coordinator will prepare reports and documentation, track key performance indicators, and contribute to grant proposals and fundraising efforts. Day-to-day tasks involve organizing virtual meetings and trainings, maintaining communication with beneficiaries and partners, and collaborating with internal teams to align projects with Wendi’s mission and strategic priorities. The role also requires proactive problem-solving, risk identification, and continuous improvement of program processes and tools.

Qualifications

  • Program and project management skills, including planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and partnership-building abilities, especially with communities and NGOs.
  • Skills in data collection, analysis, and documentation to support impact measurement and decision-making.
  • Experience with grant writing, proposal development, and basic fundraising or donor relations.
  • Proficiency in remote collaboration tools and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of community development, education, youth empowerment, or leadership training programs is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusivity, and ethical, non-discriminatory practices in nonprofit work.
