Nonprofit Program Coordinator, Southeast Asia (based in Indonesia) | Full-time | Remote | 9.5-month fixed term
GiveRadar is looking for a Nonprofit Program Coordinator with at least 3 years of experience in Indonesia's nonprofit or philanthropy sector. You’ll be based in Indonesia and work across four countries: Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand. This is a full-time, remote role for 9.5 months, from 1 January to 15 October 2027.
Why GiveRadar exists
Thousands of small local nonprofits do important work, but donors can’t find them. Search engines and AI tools mostly show the large international charities. GiveRadar changes that: a free platform that brings together official registry data on 7.9 million+ nonprofits in 100+ countries, so donors can find and understand any organization, no matter how small. The idea started when I tried, and failed, to find a small children’s charity in the Philippines.
The role
In 2027, we’re running a funded project to make small nonprofits in Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand easier for donors to find and understand. You’ll be our person in the region. Indonesia is your home base, where you’ll work most closely with partners, and you’ll also lead outreach and communication in the other three countries:
- Build relationships with government registries, certification bodies, and local NGO networks across the four countries
- Verify whether organizations in our database exist and are active, and keep their records accurate
- Reach out to local nonprofits and help them claim and complete their GiveRadar profile
- Organize native-speaker checks of our translations
- Support a donor research study and local communication about the project
- Document how registry access and data collection work in each country
Who you are
GiveRadar is young, and I’m a solo founder with a background in data and technology, not in the nonprofit sector. So I’m looking for someone who knows the Indonesian nonprofit and philanthropy landscape better than I do. You work independently, take ownership without needing everything explained, and communicate clearly and honestly, including when something isn’t working.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in the nonprofit or philanthropy sector in Indonesia
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, spoken and written
- Experience dealing with government agencies
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
A plus
- Experience working with nonprofits or partners in the Philippines, Vietnam or Thailand, or speaking one of their languages
- Experience with communications, PR, or community outreach
- Strong spreadsheet skills
- An interest in evidence-based giving
What we offer
- IDR 21,000,000 to 23,000,000 gross per month, plus THR and full statutory benefits (BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan)
- Fixed-term employment through our local employment partner
- Fully remote, with flexible hours
- Up to 3 trips within the region, covered separately
- Direct collaboration with the founder, and real influence on how GiveRadar grows in the region
How to apply
Apply with your CV by 30 November. Shortlisted candidates do a short paid work test in early December, and we’ll decide by 15 December.
