Are you a commercially driven Life Science professional with a strong network and a passion for building strategic customer relationships? Join Medhouse as our Nordic Business Manager and play a key role in driving business development, strengthening customer partnerships and accelerating growth across the Nordic region.

About Medhouse

Medhouse is a Nordic Life Science partner supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology companies with commercial expertise, people and innovative business solutions.

Our services include commercial outsourcing, interim management, recruitment, executive search and digital commercial solutions. As we continue to grow, we are strengthening our ability to serve customers consistently across the Nordic region and develop new business opportunities.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a commercially driven Nordic Business Manager to take ownership of selected Nordic customer relationships and assignments, while supporting new business development and growth across our four markets.

The role combines strategic account development with hands-on customer engagement. Working closely with Country Managers and local teams, you will coordinate cross-border customer relationships, identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and help win new business. The focus is commercial growth and customer value.

Key Responsibilities

Nordic Business Manager

  • Own and develop selected Nordic key accounts, serving as the primary Nordic relationship lead and coordinating with local account owners.

  • Build trusted relationships with regional and Nordic decision-makers at pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical technology companies.

  • Develop account plans that identify customer needs, growth opportunities, stakeholders and priorities across markets.

  • Coordinate commercial follow-up for Nordic customer assignments to ensure consistent communication, strong customer satisfaction and opportunities for contract extensions or expansion.

  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities across Medhouse services and Nordic markets.

  • Lead or coordinate Nordic account reviews, customer meetings, proposals and framework agreement discussions in collaboration with Country Managers.

Nordic Business Development & Growth

  • Generate new business opportunities through an established Life Science network and proactive prospecting.

  • Support Country Managers in developing strategic prospects, customer meetings, tenders, proposals and commercial negotiations.

  • Identify Nordic and cross-border opportunities for commercial outsourcing, interim management, recruitment, executive search and digital services.

  • Develop relationships with regional procurement, commercial and functional leaders to position Medhouse as a preferred Nordic partner.

  • Translate customer needs into commercially attractive solutions together with local teams and relevant service experts.

  • Maintain a clear view of account opportunities and contribute to sales pipeline development and revenue growth.

Nordic Customer Collaboration

  • Work closely with Country Managers to align Nordic account strategies with local market priorities and responsibilities.

  • Coordinate customer-facing activities across countries to provide a joined-up Nordic customer experience.

  • Share relevant customer insights, market intelligence and successful commercial approaches across the Nordic sales organisation.

  • Support the development of compelling Nordic value propositions and customer presentations.

Your Profile

Experience & Qualifications

  • Solid commercial experience within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical technology or the broader Life Science sector.

  • An established network of Life Science contacts, ideally spanning more than one Nordic market.

  • Demonstrated experience in key account management, business development, strategic sales or commercial partnerships.

  • Ability to navigate complex customer organisations and build relationships with senior decision-makers.

  • Experience coordinating multi-market customers, assignments or commercial projects is an advantage.

  • Understanding of consulting, commercial outsourcing or other Life Science service models is an advantage.

  • P&L responsibility or previous country management experience is not required.

Personal Characteristics

  • Commercially ambitious, proactive and motivated by measurable customer and business growth.

  • Excellent relationship-builder with a consultative, customer-focused approach.

  • Structured and reliable in managing several accounts and opportunities simultaneously.

  • Collaborative and diplomatic, able to work effectively with Country Managers and local teams.

  • Hands-on, entrepreneurial and comfortable turning opportunities into concrete actions.

  • Curious about customer challenges and skilled at connecting needs with solutions.

Language & Location

  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Fluency in Swedish or another Scandinavian language; understanding of Danish and Norwegian is desirable.

  • Finnish language skills are an advantage.

  • Based in a Nordic capital city, with flexibility for the right candidate and willingness to travel regularly.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6–12 months, the successful candidate will have:

  • Established ownership of an agreed portfolio of Nordic key accounts, with clear account plans and customer stakeholder maps.

  • Built strong working relationships with Country Managers and relevant customer decision-makers across the Nordic region.

  • Created a qualified pipeline of new Nordic and cross-border business opportunities.

  • Supported successful proposals, customer expansions or new assignments that contribute to revenue growth.

  • Improved commercial coordination and customer experience for selected Nordic accounts.
