Where You'll Make a Difference
Act as the primary local finance coordinator and point of contact for statutory reporting, compliance, and controllership activities across Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, working closely with the Finance Director.
Coordinate statutory audits, manage auditor requests, and ensure timely delivery of supporting documentation and audit requirements in partnership with the Finance Director and key stakeholders.
Support the preparation, review, and submission of annual financial statements, disclosures, and statutory reporting packages.
Partner with Tax, Legal, Shared Service Center, and external auditors to ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting deadlines.
Monitor and follow up on tax authority correspondence, tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and statutory filing requirements.
Perform monthly general ledger reviews, balance sheet analyses, and financial statement variance assessments.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while ensuring key account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
Facilitate finance review meetings with business stakeholders and support the Finance Director on accounting, compliance, and reporting matters.
Coordinate Board of Directors approval processes, statutory filings, governance activities, and legal entity compliance requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within controllership, audit coordination, statutory reporting, and compliance processes.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, controllership, statutory reporting, audit coordination, or a related finance function.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Experience coordinating with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Knowledge of local accounting and statutory reporting requirements within the Nordic region.
Proven ability to coordinate activities across multiple countries and diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong project coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.
Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.
How Would You Stand Out?
Experience in a multinational corporate environment with regional or global responsibilities.
Familiarity with Nordic tax regulations and local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience supporting statutory audits, annual financial statements, and regulatory compliance processes.
