Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Act as the primary local finance coordinator and point of contact for statutory reporting, compliance, and controllership activities across Denmark, Sweden, and Finland, working closely with the Finance Director.

  • Coordinate statutory audits, manage auditor requests, and ensure timely delivery of supporting documentation and audit requirements in partnership with the Finance Director and key stakeholders.

  • Support the preparation, review, and submission of annual financial statements, disclosures, and statutory reporting packages.

  • Partner with Tax, Legal, Shared Service Center, and external auditors to ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting deadlines.

  • Monitor and follow up on tax authority correspondence, tax audits, regulatory inquiries, and statutory filing requirements.

  • Perform monthly general ledger reviews, balance sheet analyses, and financial statement variance assessments.

  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while ensuring key account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.

  • Facilitate finance review meetings with business stakeholders and support the Finance Director on accounting, compliance, and reporting matters.

  • Coordinate Board of Directors approval processes, statutory filings, governance activities, and legal entity compliance requirements.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within controllership, audit coordination, statutory reporting, and compliance processes.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, controllership, statutory reporting, audit coordination, or a related finance function.

  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and internal controls.

  • Experience coordinating with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

  • Knowledge of local accounting and statutory reporting requirements within the Nordic region.

  • Proven ability to coordinate activities across multiple countries and diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Strong project coordination, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.

  • Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.

How Would You Stand Out?

  • Experience in a multinational corporate environment with regional or global responsibilities.

  • Familiarity with Nordic tax regulations and local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Experience supporting statutory audits, annual financial statements, and regulatory compliance processes.
