Nanny Position - North Africa Regional Context: North Africa is home to 100,000,000 people, of which more than 99% are Muslim, with little to no access to the Gospel. Our vision is to help catalyze a network of healthy, reproducing, indigenously-led Churches among every people group in North Africa. Position: Family Childcare Specialist Join our team of experienced practitioners making meaningful impact in a strategic urban center. This role supports team leadership by providing dedicated childcare for two boys (ages 5 and 3) while collaborating with parents to ensure holistic child development. Primary Responsibilities: Child Development & Care · Ensure children's safety and well-being · Create engaging educational activities · Foster social and emotional development · Model positive behavior and Christian values · Collaborate with parents on developmental goals · Support family during ministry travel and vacations Spiritual Development · Maintain strong spiritual disciplines · Contribute to the family's Christian environment · Support the family's ministry goalsWork Environment · Part-time care (several hours daily) · Collaborative setting with parent involvement · Travel required for ministry and family trips · Opportunities for ministry engagement Strategic Impact This role enables field leadership to expand their ministry impact by providing reliable, quality childcare that allows for increased investment in workers and local believers. Required Qualifications Physical Requirements · High energy level to engage with active young boys · Ability to participate in dynamic physical activities including sports, outdoor games, and playground activities · Stamina for extended periods of active childcare · Capacity to lift and carry children safely when needed Professional · Significant childcare or nanny experience · High school diploma or equivalent· First aid certification (preferred) · Experience working with young children · Understanding of child development stages Personal · Age range: 20-40 years · Demonstrated mature Christian faith verified through references · Active membership in an evangelical church · Agreement with Lausanne Covenant principles · Sound emotional, physical, and mental health · Ability to raise and maintain ministry support Key Competencies · Natural affinity for childcare · Energetic and enthusiastic disposition · Athletic inclination with interest in sports and outdoor activities · Proactive and self-motivated · Patient and nurturing disposition · Excellent multitasking abilities · Flexibility and adaptability · Strong communication skills · Cultural sensitivity · Problem-solving abilities · Team-oriented mindset · Positive, cheerful demeanor Ideal Candidate We're seeking a female candidate who brings enthusiasm and energy to childcare, with a passion for active engagement with children.
