The Position:
The Nursing Licensure and Enrollment Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting nursing licensure, provider enrollment, payor enrollment, and regulatory activities across Soleo Health, Virtis Health, and emerging business entities, including Soleo Rare. This position serves as a key operational resource supporting nursing licensure applications and renewals, Nurse Practitioner licensing, National Provider Identifier (NPI) enrollment activities, provider credentialing, and enrollment-related initiatives. The role works collaboratively with the Licensure and Credentialing team to ensure timely application submissions, accurate record maintenance, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness.
This position plays an important role in supporting organizational growth by providing dedicated resources for increasing nursing licensure and provider enrollment demands while assisting with new entity implementation and expansion initiatives. Through strong attention to detail, organization, and cross-functional collaboration, the Nursing Licensure and Enrollment Specialist helps ensure compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements while supporting uninterrupted patient care and business operations. Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate and manage nursing licensure applications, renewals, updates, and maintenance activities for nursing personnel across multiple states.
- Support Nurse Practitioner licensing activities, including applications, renewals, state registrations, and related documentation requirements.
- Assist with National Provider Identifier (NPI) enrollment and maintenance activities for Nurse Practitioners and other assigned providers.
- Support Virtis Health provider enrollment activities, including application preparation, submission, follow-up, and maintenance.
- Assist with Soleo Rare licensing and enrollment initiatives under the direction of the director.
- Provide credentialing support through collection, verification, organization, and maintenance of provider documentation.
- Assist with provider demographic updates, regulatory reporting requirements, credentialing databases, and related tracking systems.
- Support payor enrollment activities as needed, including application preparation, roster updates, recredentialing support, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical records related to licensure, enrollment, and credentialing functions.
- Monitor application statuses and renewal timelines to ensure timely submissions and ongoing compliance.
- Communicate with licensing boards, enrollment organizations, credentialing entities, and internal stakeholders regarding application status and requirements.
- Assist with regulatory audits, documentation requests, and compliance reviews.
- Serve as backup support for the Lead Pharmacy Licensing & Regulatory Coordinator during absences or peak workload periods.
- Participate in departmental cross-training initiatives to support business continuity and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Clinical Services, Human Resources, Operations, Finance, Contracting, and Compliance as needed.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of healthcare licensing, credentialing, provider enrollment, regulatory compliance, or healthcare administration experience preferred.
- Experience working with provider enrollment, credentialing, nursing licensure, or healthcare regulatory processes preferred.
- Knowledge of state licensing boards, NPI registration, credentialing requirements, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payor enrollment processes preferred.
- Strong organizational, time management, and documentation management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience utilizing healthcare enrollment, credentialing, or compliance tracking systems preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
