At Frontier Cooperative, we believe agriculture is more than a business, it's a way of life. As an agricultural leader serving Nebraska's farming communities, we provide a comprehensive range of grain, agronomy, feed, and energy products and services. But what sets us apart is how we do it: with integrity, with quality, and with a deep commitment to the communities we're proud to call home. We're looking for people who share those values and want to grow with us.
What you'll do:
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective feed customers.
- Recommend livestock nutrition products and solutions based on customers’ individual operations and goals.
- Develop whole-farm solutions that provide measurable value and return on investment.
- Educate customers and Frontier employees on livestock nutrition products, programs, and positioning.
- Identify opportunities to grow sales and increase customer relationships.
- Collaborate with advisors across Frontier’s other business units.
- Use industry research, on-farm data, and current livestock nutrition information to support recommendations.
- Participate in producer meetings, customer events, county fairs, seminars, annual meetings, and other Frontier events.
- Support community outreach efforts, including FFA, 4-H, and other youth agriculture organizations.
- Promote a positive customer experience while supporting Frontier’s commitment to agriculture and farm families.
- Follow all company safety standards and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
What we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge or experience with livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, swine, and horses.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Sales-minded with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable learning and using new products, technologies, marketing strategies, and sales programs.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse customer base and collaborate across teams.
- Degree in Agricultural Sales, Animal Nutrition, Livestock Management, Diversified Agriculture, Business, Agribusiness, Agricultural Education, or related experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout Frontier’s trade territory.
