Job Description This is a remote position. The Opportunity: At Pentoz, we are creating next-generation eCommerce systems that help businesses grow rapidly with minimal overhead. As an Oberlo Developer, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining dropshipping stores that rely on Oberlo and Shopify for automated product sourcing, inventory sync, and order fulfillment. You will work closely with marketing, design, and operations teams to deliver high-performance, scalable online stores that integrate seamlessly with global supply chains. This is a strategic role at the intersection of technical development, eCommerce optimization, and automated retail workflows. You Will Be Responsible For: Store Setup & Customization: Creating and managing Shopify stores integrated with Oberlo, using custom themes, Liquid templates, and Shopify settings. Product Import & Management: Automating product imports from AliExpress and other sources via Oberlo, managing variants, pricing rules, and fulfillment settings. Automation Workflows: Setting up order routing, tracking updates, and fulfillment logic using Oberlo’s automation tools and third-party integrations. Custom Development: Enhancing store functionality using JavaScript, Shopify APIs, Liquid, and other front-end tools for a seamless shopping experience. Inventory Sync & Monitoring: Ensuring real-time inventory updates and availability across large product catalogs using Oberlo’s inventory sync features. Performance Optimization: Improving site speed, user experience, and conversion paths through A/B testing and data-driven design changes. Maintenance & Support: Monitoring for errors, resolving bugs, and performing updates to ensure continuous operation and customer satisfaction. This Role Is For You If: You have 1–3 years of experience working with Shopify and dropshipping tools like Oberlo. You understand how to manage and scale dropshipping stores with multiple SKUs and vendors. You’re comfortable with Shopify theme customization, Liquid templating, and front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). You have experience working with APIs and can integrate apps to expand store capabilities. You are proactive, self-motivated, and enjoy optimizing workflows for speed and scale. Bonus Points If You Have: Experience with AliExpress order automation and bulk editing tools. Familiarity with apps like DSers, Spocket, or other Shopify dropshipping alternatives. Background in digital marketing or Shopify SEO. Knowledge of payment gateways, international shipping logic, or tax compliance for global stores.
